Mayfield, dies
MAYFIELD, Ky. -- Mrs. Grace S. Boyd, 83, widow of Curtis Jones Boyd, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday in Lourdes Hospital at Paducah.
Mrs. Boyd was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Mentor Club in Mayfield.
She is survived by a son, Curtis J. Boyd of Mayfield; two daughters, Mrs. James Pryor and Mrs. Hal Thomas Wright, both of Mayfield; a brother, Merritt C. Sims of Van Vleck, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Byrne Funeral Chapel where friends may call after 6 p.m. today.
The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to the Grace Boyd Memorial Fund at First United Methodist Church.
