Roswell G. Gordon was the eldest of five known children of John Gordon (1813-1899) and Mary Cecil (1821-1866). Roswell served with the Confederate forces during the Civil War. It is not know if he is actually buried here or just a memorial stone (cenotaph). Does anyone know his Civil War record?
