Addie Lee Truitt Kersh - Born in Rock Mills, AL on June 5, 1917, and a resident of Mobile County for the past 67 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Mrs. Kersh was a member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. She retired from Gaylord's Department Store after many years of dedi-cated service. A wonderful mother, loving grand-mother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Frances "Jo" Drucilla Albers; and her great-grandson, Mikey Kersh. Survivors include three children, Shirley Ann Chancey, Roy Wayne (Mary) Kersh and Jackie (Raymond) Brazel; her sister, Mildred Kelly; seven grandsons, Michael (Susan) Kersh, Tony (Lea) Kersh, Gary (Melissa) Chancey, Wayne Kersh, Jr., Craig Kersh, Scott (Michelle) Dobbins, and Jamie (Ashley) Dobbins; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inter-ment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Special thanks go to Mrs. Kersh's caregivers and to the staff of Oakwood Nursing Home in Bay Minette. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Tornado Relief Fund, 1009 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL 36604. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
