Addie Lee Truitt Kersh - Born in Rock Mills, AL on June 5, 1917, and a resident of Mobile County for the past 67 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Mrs. Kersh was a member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. She retired from Gaylord's Department Store after many years of dedi-cated service. A wonderful mother, loving grand-mother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Frances "Jo" Drucilla Albers; and her great-grandson, Mikey Kersh. Survivors include three children, Shirley Ann Chancey, Roy Wayne (Mary) Kersh and Jackie (Raymond) Brazel; her sister, Mildred Kelly; seven grandsons, Michael (Susan) Kersh, Tony (Lea) Kersh, Gary (Melissa) Chancey, Wayne Kersh, Jr., Craig Kersh, Scott (Michelle) Dobbins, and Jamie (Ashley) Dobbins; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inter-ment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Special thanks go to Mrs. Kersh's caregivers and to the staff of Oakwood Nursing Home in Bay Minette.
