Simmial Bilyeu, 59, died March 25 in Cookeville following a short illness. He was a tire recapper and a resident of 129 N Cedar Ave, Cookeville.
Funeral services were held today at Whitson Funeral Home and burial in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Rev Lynn Markham officiated.
Born in Putnam County, he was the son of the late Abe and Louvena Willeford Bilyeu.
Survivors are five brothers: Elzie and Bennie of Cookeville; Albert and Charlie of Nashville; Bill of Crossville; one sister, Mrs. Cara Davis of Detroit.
