Mrs. Sofia Comstock, 73, died Tuesday in Bellevue. She was born in Greene, Iowa
on April 27, 1901. She was married to Harry Comstock in 1949 in Ellensburg.

He operated the Ellensburg Feed Store. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary
in Ellensburg and worked for the Ellensburg Laundry from 1949-1960. Her husband
preceded her in death. She left Ellensburg in 1965 to live in Redmond where she
has resided near her children.

Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Brumfield, Redmond;
stepdaughter Mrs. Earl (Gertrude) Ingham, Grandview; sons John D. Bailey,
Redmond; and Marvin W. Bailey, St. Louis, Mo. a retired Lt. Colonel; six
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister Mrs. Harry (Millie) Anderson,
Klamath Falls, Ore.; Mrs. Earl (Anna) Matteson, Anaconda, Mont.; brothers Arthur
and Fred Heinkel, both Minneapolis, Minn.
