Edward Delone "Ed" Cain was born on July 22, 1905, in Birmingham, Alabama, his father, Eugene, was 29 and his mother, Mary, was 24. He had 9 brothers and 3 sisters, two passed away as babies. He married Vera Lee Beaty on November 1, 1927, in Etowah County, Alabama. He died on November 2, 1941, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 36, and was buried in Birmingham, Alabama. His wife remarried after his death and her married name was Waters. At her death in 2001 she was 89 and living in Port Charlotte, Florida.She is buried in Michigan.
