Married Sarah "Catherine" Brown: 6 OCT 1850 in Marshall County, Tennessee; Marriage Bonds Vol 1 for 1838-1849; Page 1;executed by J.W.T. Lee; issued October 5, 1850 They had five known children. He was a brother of Wilson Britton
