Ada Ernestine Akridge, 91, of Albany, died May 29, 2011 at her daughter's residence in Gainesville, GA. Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Akridge Cemetery.
Born December 4, 1919 in Sneads, FL, Mrs. Akridge was the daughter of the late Daniel and Katherine Scott. She was married to the late Agnew Hilsman Akridge. Mrs. Akridge retired from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Wodenscheck of Gainsesville, GA, Shirley Zenner of Jacksonville, FL, and Brenda Tellez of Albany; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
