Mary Finck, age 91, passed away Jan.26, 2010 in Washougal, WA. She was born Aug.14, 1918 in Kenasha, WI where she was raised.
Mary married Ewald Blaziewske in 1938. He passed away in 1941. She then married Leo Finck on December 12, 1942.
When Leo returned from WW II, they farmed in South Dakota and later moved to Camas, WA in 1959.
Mary worked for a time at the Jantzen Knitting Mills as a sewer and at the Camas Dairy Queen. She later worked as a custodian for the Camas School District.
Mary was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and all sorts of crafts.
Survivors include her children, Robert and Dennis Finck of Vancouver, WA, Roger Finck of South Dakota, Margie Shoemaker of Washougal, Randy Finck of Battle Ground, WA; sister, Olga White of Port Washington, WI; brothers, John Parcenka of Florence, WI, William Parcenka of Tempe, AZ; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ewald; son, Larry Finck; daughter, Pat Lougheed; brother, Pete Parcenka; sisters, Ann Wright, Harriet Duvall; and on January 4 of this year, her husband, Leo Finck.
Mary's life will be celebrated on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas. Her ashes will be inurned along with Leo's at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to the American Cancer Association and mailed to Margie Shoemaker at 12422 Washougal River Rd., Washougal, WA 98671.
