Capt. John Warren Ayers, 617 Expositon, aged 96, native of Illinois, resident of Dallas 50 years, died Monday. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Emma Kingsbury and Mrs. May Finlay; two granddaughters, Mrs. Edith Chatfield, all of Dallas, and Mrs. A. T. Smith of Fort Myers, Florida; two great-grandchildren. Services Wednesday 11 a. m. Church of the Incarnation, Rev. Valentine Lee officiating. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery.
