ROGERSVILLE – Robert Crigger, 72, died at 9 p.m. Sunday at the Holston Valley Community Hospital.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maggie Yates Crigger; one daughter, Mrs. Alva Persinger, Baltimore, Md.; three sons, Rufus Crigger, Baltimore, Md., Carl Crigger, Church Hill, and Robert Crigger, Morristown; six step-children: James Armstrong, Kingsport, Haynes Armstrong, Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Nancy McCloy, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Tilda Gatewood, Mrs. Mary Etta Lee and Mrs. Sarah Barrett, all of Surgoinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary West of Surgoinsville and Mrs. Maggie Blakely of Kingsport; one brother, Ed Crigger of Surgoinsville.
Funeral services will be held at the Amis Chapel Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Gordon McCullan officiating.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Crigger, Clifford Crigger, Billy Crigger, Kenneth Henderson and Donald Henderson.
The body will remain at Colboch-Price Funeral Home until time for the service.
