He was born June 21, 1918, to Godfrey Henry and Edna Hanna (Borrall) Kuehner in Wheatland.
He graduated from Wheatland High School in 1936. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated from the University of Idaho.
Mr. Kuehner had worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Elko, Nev., and in Grand Junction, Colo., retiring in 1974. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He married Meredith Wolf on Dec. 18, 1944, in New Orleans, La.
He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a charter member of the Society of Range Management, American Legion, Rotary Club, Lions Club and other organizations.
Mr. Kuehner is survived by his wife, Meredith Kuehner of Wheatland; two sons, Jeffrey Roy Kuehner of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Russell Merle Kuehner of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mary Dunham and Wilma Davis, both of Wheatland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rae Trahert; and a brother, Frank Kuehner.
