Moreland, Marjorie Josephine Kelleam, passed away peacefully in Fresno, California on Tuesday, August 18, 2009.

She was born on May 2, 1924 to Clifford and Ruby Pauline Kelleam, the fourth of four daughters.

She married Gerald Ainley Moreland on November 20, 1945.

During WWII she worked at Goodrich making de-icers for airplanes. She volunteered as a Den Mother, Girl Scout leader and Sunday School teacher. She was a devoted mother and wife, working hard to make life better for those around her. She was a resident of Fullerton from 1965 until 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Elizabeth Anderson and Dorothy Anderson; her son-in-law Lee Nye and a grandson Lee Nye, Jr.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Larald Moreland and his wife, Brooke of Denver, CO., Janet Eileen Proby and her husband Fred of San Luis Obispo, CA., Melody Nye and her husband Michael Fancher of Chowchilla, CA., and Lanita Jean Moreland of Placentia, CA.; her sister, Lanita Hartshorn of Grants Pass, Oregon; grandchildren, Nicole Liberta of Clovis, CA., Kenneth Moreland of Albuquerque, NM, Jody Jo Mize of Clovis, CA., Dianne Moreland of Seattle, WA., Jason Proby, United States Army, Jessica Nye Paskin of Merced, CA., Jonathan Proby of Australia, Corey Montgomery of Placentia, CA. and Kayleigh Montgomery, USN.

Graveside Service will be held at Rosehills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA. on Friday, August 28, 2009, at 3:00 p.m.
