At his residence, in Linn Township, Moniteau County, MO, on Saturday evening last, the 31st, Mr. John Inglish, an old and highly respectable citizen of this county.
Seldom is our community called on to deplore the death of a better man than our lamented friend, whose death has filled us with unusual sadness. He was one of the noblest works of God, an honest man, a most estimable citizen, a kind friend, a good neighbor, and a most effectual mate husband and indulgent father.
He was a worth and honored member of the Masonic Lodge in this city, and possessed in an eminent degree the esteem and confidence is of its members. We have known the deceased nearly eight years, and can bear testimony to his many noble traits of character. His loss will be keenly felt in his neighborhood, and indeed in the entire county; and to his sorrow stricken family his loss will be irreparable. We tender to them our warmest sympathies. CPS
