Beulah May Funk, 77, of Rt. 1, Edina died Sunday afternoon (May 14, 1978) at 5:42 in a Kirksville hospital, where she had been a patient since May 10.

Born Nov. 14, 1900 in Knox county, she was the daughter of Sidney Freeman and Hettie M. Bishop Baker. On Jan. 29, 1919 she was married to Samuel Gale Funk, who preceded her in death on June 12, 1975. Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Mrs. John (Eva Marie) Mohrman and one in infancy.

Surviving are three sons, Gene Funk of Hurdland, Carl Ed Funk of Boles, Ark., and Raymond Funk of Edina; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. A. B. (Grace) Drescher of Hannibal.

Mrs. Funk resided in the Bee Ridge community, before moving to the Rock Creek community.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon (May 16, 1978) at 3:30 in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina. The Rev. Luke Turnbough of Edina will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Rock Creek cemetery west of Edina.
