Sam Brummett was age 74,and lived in Clinton, TN, when he passed away Saturday, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, and retired after 17 years of service as a Plumber and Electrician with the City of Clinton, TN. His hobbies were enjoying time with his grandchildren, sports, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Cora Brummett. He is survivored by his wife of 54 years, Anna Mae Brummett, daughters, Judy and husband, Mark Fuhrman, and Louise and husband, Larry Spiva; sons, Jim and wife, Karen Brummett, and Archie and wife, Sandy Brummett, all are from Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Dustin, Jamie and Destiny Brummett, Tiffany Spiva, and Jordan Fuhrman; sisters, Virginia and husband, John Bumgardner, Betty and husband, Charles 'Bob' E. Brooks, all from Clinton, TN and Ann Cartwright of Georgetown, TN, and several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Gene Stewart, Glennmore Hamilton, and all who were there during his stay in the hospital.
