David Elliott was the son of Robert and Eliza (Roberts) Elliott. He was born in about 1844 in Sheffield Township, Tippecanoe Co, Indiana. He first married Alice L. Ritchey on 2 Mar 1875, and she died in 1906 and is buried in Dayton Cemetery. He second married Mrs. Lillian Crowell and she survives. He had two step sons, Elton and Thomas Crowell. He is survived by two nephews, Scott and Henry Fullenwider, of Waveland, sons of his sister Mary and her husband, Joseph Newton Fullenwider. David Elliott's obituary is attached. Since it says he is buried at Dayton, it seems likely he is buried beside his first wife, Alice Ritchey Elliott, although there is no stone.
