Mrs. Marie Adams, wife of Geo. W. Adams died at the home of her parents at Martinez Sunday evening after having given birth to a child at noon. The husband, who is Wells Fargo agent at Healdsburg, was summoned but did not reach his wife's deathbed until after she had passed away.
Mr. Adams was stationed here as depot agent for the Southern Pacific Company for several years and his wife became a favorite with her many friends. She leaves her husband and a little daughter Ramona. She was aged 23 years.
The funeral was held Wednesday from St. Catherine's church.
