Ruth Christine Cramer
NEWPORT - Ruth Christine Cramer, 67, of Maple Street died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday (June 6, 1998) at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, John and Carol Kuhn of Marietta Route 5.
She was born April 4. 1930. in Wood County, W.Va., to Roy and Rebecca Casto Carter. She was a homemaker and caregiver.
She is survived by four sons, Chester Wheeler of Florida, John C. Kuhn and his wife. Carol, of Marietta Route 5, William H. Kuhn of Marietta and Ward C. Hopkins of Allenstown. N.H.; three daughters, Patty Carter Steed and her husband, Tom, of Pontiac, Mich., Sheila Wheeler Hunter of Marietta and Mary June Blind and her husband, John, of Stockport; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Reynolds of Devola; three brothers, Lee Carter of Senecaville and Archie Carter and Willie Carter, both of Marietta; and a number of nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at McClure-Schafer Funeral Home in Marietta with the Rev. Chester Henthorn officiating. Entombment is in East Lawn Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon today until the hour of the services.
