Bert McCaslin Dead
E. Bert McCaslin died at 7 o'clock Sunday morning at his home in Johnson township, about one mile north of New Franklin, of pleuro pneumonia after an illness of only one week's duration. Aged 44 years, 9 months and 27 days. Short funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday morning and interment was at New Frankfort cemetery. He is survived by a wife, one daughter and two sons.
Mr. McCaslin was a highly respected citizen of his community and one who will be greatly missed by his neighbors and friends, who sympathize with the bereaved widow and children in their great loss.
