Mrs. Marguerite C. Pence, 323 N. Vine Street, widow of Herbert Pence, died Friday at Woodland Nursing Home. She was born in Delaware County, attended county schools and Muncie Business College. She spent her entire life in this community.
Mrs. Pence was employed at Muncie Federal Savings and Loan Association many years prior to retirement in 1953. She at one time served as treasurer of the Muncie Mission Auxiliary.
Surviving are her son, John Pence, Muncie; four grandchildren, Tom Pence, Mrs. Stephen (Elaine) Fess, Mrs. Dennis (Sheila) Moeschl, and Fred Ewing; and her brother, Charles Fullhart, Lewiston, Mich.
Services will be held in Meeks Mortuary at 11:30 a.m. Monday with Dr. Robert G. Sulanke officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and any time before services Monday.
