Sarah E. is the wife of farmer David H. Dinsmore, age 44, in the Dade County, MO 1880 Census. Eliza J. Dinsmore, age 58, listed as a cousin, is next door at the home of William N. King.

Sarah and David cared for an orphaned relative Issac Wilson, but had no children of their own. After David's death Sarah lived with her brother David Theophilus King and his family.

I believe husband David died in 1887. A veteran of the Civil War, Company H, Second Light Artillery, David served in 1864-65. Sarah is listed as a widow in the 1890 Veterans Schedules of the US Federal Census.
From the Dade County Advocate, July 26, 1888 -- A probate court notice naming John S McConnell administer on David Dinsmore's estate, July 3, 1888.
