Pansy Nahrwold, 76, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at North Okaloosa Medical Center.
She was born April 15, 1935, in Whitesburg, Ky., and moved to Okaloosa County in 1963. She was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Nahrwold. She was devoted to her family, children and grandchildren and had a selfless devotion to them.
Survivors include her children, Susan Overly (Randy), Lynn Luke, Butch Nahrwold (Lauri) and Brenda West (Eric); sister, Josie Smallwood; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, at Full Gospel Tabernacle with Brother Steve Bolton officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, May 10, at Barrancas National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Flowers are being accepted, or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
