Harold Anthony Hoisington 1894-1963

HAROLD HOISINGTON
Charles City – Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church for Harold Hoisington, 89. He died Thursday at the Cedar Valley Hospital where he had been a patient since July 4. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home in charge.

Born in Mitchell County, March 25, 1894, he was the son of Marcus and Annie (Canfield) Hoisington. November 24, 1915, he was married to Maude A. Kehoe in New Haven.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Marcus, rural Charles City; a daughter, Helen Hoisington, New Orleans; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Neal Hoisington, Floyd; and three sisters, Mrs. Bernard Atherton; Mrs. Cora Clark; and Mrs. Irma Bilharz, all of Charles City. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
