Bobbie Jeane Flowers Vaughn, 72, of Tifton, Ga., died Friday, June 3, 2011, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., on Sunday, June 5, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The Rev. Terry Smith will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1938, in Colquitt County, and was the daughter of Mose Flowers and Florrie Cardin Flowers, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of Omega Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, George Lafayette Vaughn Sr. of Tifton, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law, George L. Jr. and Elaine Vaughn of Carnesville, Ga., and Danny and Becky Vaughn of Cordele, Ga.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane and Jerry Vick of Moultrie, Cathy and Howard Kirkland of Irwinville, Ga., Kimberly Vaughn of Tifton, Ga., and Bobbie Jo Vaughn of Brunswick, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
