Harris L. Ackert, son of the late Frank E. Ackert, died at his home in San Pedro. Calif., Tuesday, Aug. 12. Military services and burial took place at Los Angeles National Cemetery. Mr. Ackert served with the Marine Corps in Europe during World War I and following his discharge in 1934, made his home in California.
He is survived by his wife, Elsa, a brother, Gail M. Ackert of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters,
Mrs. Frances Ives of Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Amy Wadsworth of Evanston, and Mrs. Anne Hannan, Dixon.
