Mrs. Caroline Janke.
On last Saturday morning, Oct 17, at 11:15, at her home north of town, Mrs. Caroline Janke, wife of John Janke, deceased, died, after an illness of some duration. Her remains were laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery Sunday afternoon, Rev. Gruebe, pastor of the Lutheran church, conducting the services.
Mrs. Janke was 71 years, 7 months and 14 days. She was among the early settlers of this section, and was a good woman, a kind neighbor and will be missed by all who knew her.
