Mrs. Pearl Hamlin, 73, died in a local hospital on Nov. 8. She had been a resident of this city for 15 years. She was born on Oct. 9, 1894 in Arkansas.
Funeral services were held in the French Mortuary Chapel Friday, Nov.10, with the Rev. Quesenberry officiating at 2 p. m. Burial was in the local cemetery. Pallbearers were Don McKee, Malcolm McGregor. Charles Ploen, Arvil Marley, Monroe Clark and Gerald Cooper. Survivors include three sons, Howard Hamlin Jr., of this city, Lester Hamlin of Oklahoma, and Virgil Hamlin, California; three daughters, Mrs. W. L. Brock of Roscoe, Tex., Mrs. Justine Webster, of this city and Mrs. Dolly Wilcox of Arizona, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
