Funeral services for Elsie Tannehill, 77, Ocie, were held Monday in Salem Church with the Revs. Allen Ledbetter and Dwain Moore officiating.
Mrs. Tannehill died Friday in her home after apparently suffering a heart attack. She was a member of the Salem Church.
She was born May 16, 1905, at Ocie, the daughter of Albert and Sylvia Henson Brown. She was married April 20, 1928, at Ocie, to Truman Tannehill, who survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Jones, Stockton; three half-sisters; a step-brother; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Burial, under direction of Clinkingbeard of Gainesville, was in Lutie Cemetery in Theodosia.
Pallbearers were Doyle Silvey, Reggie Spurlock, Glendon Jennings, Hershel Myers, Scott Bayliff and Ralph Jones.
