Wilma Adams Eller, 89, died September 15, 1997 at Lackey Manor Nursing Home in Oklahoma City, of natural causes following an extended illness. She was retired from South Central Bell Telephone of Alabama after 43 years service. Mrs. Eller was born February 29, 1908 in Nanafalia, Alabama to William Berry and Daisy (Cabiness) Adams. She was married August 23, 1942 in Selma, Alabama to Elbert V. Eller, who lives in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Eller had lived in Bethany and Oklahoma City since 1980 when she and Mr. Eller moved to this area to be closer to their children. Wilma Eller was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend, and will be waiting in Heaven for her loved ones to join her, so "the circle will be unbroken." Until that day, she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a son, C. Rodney Eller and wife Carolyn Phillips Eller, Bethany; a daughter, Patricia and husband Robert C. Crane, Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren, Dustin Eller, Bethany, Rob Crane, Colorado Springs, and Keisla Crane Phillips, Oklahoma City, and a great granddaughter, Delainey Phillips, Oklahoma City; also two brothers, Otis G. Adams, Selma, Alabama and Ernest Adams, Clifton Forge, Virginia. She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation Oklahoma Chapter, Oklahoma City. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gene Adams Funeral Service. Services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, at Gene Adams Chapel, with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
