She was born January 29, 1939 in Mansfield. Barbara graduated from Madison High School in 1957 where she was a cheerleader and Homecoming Queen. She worked for many years at Westinghouse and Ohio Brass. A devoted mother, Barbara was always very supportive of her children.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dean Blamer; children, Dean (Jodi) of Reynoldsburg/Gahanna, Dale (Toni) of Mansfield, Darin (Tammy) of Fredericktown, Denise (Brad) of Columbus and Dianne of Mansfield; grandchildren, Stacey, Troy and Josh; siblings, Thomas Windsor, Margorie Cattani and Darlene Lotz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and June Windsor and her brother, Bob E. Windsor.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Diamond Street Home of the Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the funeral home conducted by Major Marcus Jugenheimer. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 32.
