Services for Gertrude Inyart McWilliams, 89, formerly of 723 East Main St., Olney will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Summers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Tony McWilliams, grandson of the deceased, will officiate.
Mrs. McWilliams died at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Olney Care Center where she was a resident.
She was born March 22, 1890 in Lawrence County to George W. and Mary Berry Inyart. On March 23, 1910 she married Walter McWilliams. He died Feb. 6, 1964.
Surviving are sons, Glen E., Hilbert, and Van McWilliams all of Olney, and Walter of Mt. Carmel; daughters, Nancy Hahn, Olney and Betty Bates, Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Ralph Inyart of Cape Coral, Fla., Ernest Inyart of Charleston, George W. Inyart of Shelbyville and Lyle Inyart of Hollywood, Fla.; sisters, Rosa Heckler, Sumner, Dorothy Parr, Davidson, Mich., Katie Marsh, Durand, Mich., Thelma Tillotson, Bradenton, Fla. and Mary Alice Seymour, Olney; fourteen grandchildren and six step-grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, two daughters, three sisters and two brothers.
