Frances Schofield
1916-2000

Funeral services for Frances Schofield, 84, of Gainesville, were held Friday, Nov. 3, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville with Doug Irwin officiating. Burial was in Lutie Cemetery.

Mrs. Schofield died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Gainesville Health Care Center, She was born March 10, 1916, at Big Creek, the daughter of Harry and Della (Welch) Lamere. She married Purl Schofield June 26, 1935, at Ocie.

Mrs. Schofield was a homemaker and a member of Dugginsville Community Church.

She is survived by two sons, Kermit Schofield and Carl Schofield of Theodosia; one brother, Harl Lamere, of Klamath Falls, Ore.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Purl; her parents; and six sisters.

Pallbearers were Dale Schofield, Loren Schofield, Justin Rushing, Lynn Jennings, Dorman Schofield, Larry Burchell and Travis Schofield.
