Elizabeth Ann Zoerb Maxwell was born at Maple Grove, Minnesota, on April 25, 1866 and passed to her external rest August 11 in her 74th year. In 1885 she was united in marriage to Frank Maxwell in Clear Lake. To this union were born six children, three of whom are deceased.
Her husband preceded her in death, 42 years ago. She has been a resident of Excelsior for 55 years where she was well and favorably known.
She is survived by one son, Fred Maxwell; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Frye of Hinckley and Mrs. Jack O'Neal of Excelsior; two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Morse of Excelsior and Mrs. Minnie LaBelle, Minneapolis, There are also eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted by Reverend James M. Burns at the Methodist church, Wednesday, August 14 at 2 pm. Pearl and Adrian Seamans sang her favorite hymns: Face to Face, Jesus is Calling and Abide with Me. Six nephews were pallbearers: Orrin Morse, Joseph Bruhn, Henry Bruhn, Milton LaBelle, Harry Bruhn and Peter Hertogs.
