Alfred "Al" Elijah Bohannon, 82, of Pinehurst, passed away Feb. 6, 2010, at the family home of Pine Creek. He was born Sept.15, 1927, at Morgan, Mo.; Al was the son of John and Maude (Loucks) Bohannon.

Al moved to the Silver Valley in 1952 from Southern Idaho. He married Vera Sullivan on June 5, 1954, at Superior, Montana; Vera passed away in 1988. Al then married Ruth (Sargents) Talley on March 18, 1995, at Smelterville, Idaho.

Al was a hard worker, working most of his life as a miner. He had worked at the Page Mine, the Con-Sil Mine and lastly at the Lucky Friday Mine until his retirement in 1989.(all mines located in the Silver Valley aka Shoshone co. North Idaho)

Al was a member of the Steelworkers Union. He loved and enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting and playing music — especially the harmonica. He had a great intrest for tractors, engines and trains.
