Marguerite passed away early Tuesday afternoon at the Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Services Serenity House in Oskaloosa at the age of 98 years, 3 months and 4 days.

Marguerite Grace Hunt, daughter of Wilbert and Grace Hamilton Magnall, was born February 27, 1913 in Numa, Iowa. At age ten, Marguerites's family moved to Mystic. She was a 1932 graduate of Mystic High School. February 11, 1934, Marguerite was united in marriage to Kenneth William Hunt in Corydon, Iowa. They made their home in Mystic where they raised their family and she was a homemaker. In November 2005, Marguerite went to live at the Washington Care Center. Marguerite was a past member of O.E.S.; she enjoyed playing playing B.I.N.G.O. and spending time with her grandchildren.

Marguertite's family includes her daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Jimmie Sellers of Oskaloosa; two grandsons: Scott(Pam)Smallwood of Lngmont, CO and Curt Smallwood of Phoenix, AZ; four great-grandchildren: Melanie, Nick, Amanda and Megan Smallwood.

Besides her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth on December 22, 1964; and two sisters: Margery McGrann and Wilma Close.

Graveside Service: 3:30 pm Wednesday afternoon, Jume 1, 2011 at Highland Cemetery near Mystic, Iowa.
