Mrs. Glenda Marie Johnson, 4016 Woodway Drive, wife of George D. Johnson, died Thursday at Ball Hospital. She graduated from Mooreland High School and Ball State and attended Indiana University and University of California at Berkeley.
Mrs. Johnson taught art and home economics in the Henry County schools and later taught at Blaine Elementary in Muncie. She was a member of Friends Memorial Church and a past president of United Society of Friends Women.
Surviving besides her husband are her sister, Mrs. Bernice White, Phoenix, Ariz.; a nephew, Richard Moore, New Castle, and a niece, Mrs. Wanda Stephens, Albuquerque, N.M.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Meeks Mortuary with Richard Newby, pastor of Friends Memorial Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Mooreland Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and any time before the services Saturday.
