Lydia Ellen Ross, sister of William Ross and David Linn Ross, died last night [Dec. 26, 1909] shortly before midnight at her home on Ferry street, after a short illness. Miss Ross was born and reared in Lafayette and resided here all of her life. The funeral will be held
from the residence on Ferry street on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. The services will be public and the internment will be private.

FUNERAL of MISS ROSS. The funeral of Miss Lydia Ellen Ross was conducted this morning from the home on Ferry street. Rev. S.W. Elliott officiated and music was furnished by a trio composed of Mrs. Edgar A. Taylor, Mrs. Isaac Rice and Edward W. Frank. The remains were placed in the vault at Greenbush cemetery.
