J. W. EZELL, 93, DEAD AT EDINA; BLIND 15 YEARS

Edina, Mo. Aug. 14—Joseph W Ezell a native Kentuckyan ninety-three years of age, died in the home of his daughter here Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock and was buried yesterday in Linville cemetery after funeral services conducted by the Rev. S. E. Botsford.
Mr. Ezell had been blind for fifteen years. His health had been falling but his serious illness was a short one.
First of nine children, he was born in Ohio county, Ky., the son of Greenbery and Elizabeth Ezell. He married Harriet Amanda Lynn Dec. 16 1858, in Monmouth, Ill., where they resided for some years, Mr. Ezell conducting a grocery business. Three children were born, a son dying in infancy. The family later moved to Jacksonville, Ill. and in 1907 came to the James Van Horn farm, three and one-half miles east of here, where Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Castle, a son-in-law and daughter, were residing. In 1911 they moved into Edina, and it was at the home of Mrs. Castle that Mr Ezell died.
Mrs. Ezell preceded her husband in death by nine months.
