Mrs. Margaret Hockersmith Seized With Heart Attack That Proved Fatal

Death came very suddenly last night about 9:30 o'clock to Mrs. Margaret Hockersmith, wife of John L. Hockersmith, 258 Ringgold street.
Mrs. Hockersmith, though in failing heath for the past several years, was about the house yesterday in her customary manner. After eating the evening meal with her husband she journeyed to a neighbor's on Ringgold street on an errand. Upon returning she was seized with a heart attack near the entrance to her home. Receiving the aid of nearby residents she was moved into the house where death came a few minutes later. She was aged sixty-seven years.
The deceased was born in Mercersburg but resided here the greater portion of her life.
Seven years ago she married Mr. Hockersmith, it being her second marriage.
Mrs. Hockersmith was a devout member of the Methodist church and was highly respected in the community.
Surviving are her husband and these children: Mrs. J. C. Shiess, Altoona, Pa.; Mrs. Bertha Anderson, at home; C. G. Anderson, Lynchburg, Va.; Roy Anderson, at home; also these sisters and borthers: Mrs. Laura Trout, Hagerstown; Mrs. William Rodgers, Cavetown; A. R. Divalbiss, Mercersburg.
