FLOYD (PETE) SWITZER

Floyd L. (Pete) Switzer, 61, of 10050 Township Lake Rd., Harrison, died Friday, Nov. 25, in the Midland Hospital. Born on November 18, 1916, in Hamilton Township, Clare County, he had spent his lifetime there. Mr. Switzer had been employed by Dow Chemical Co. for 26 years where he was an operator in the Chlorobenzel Dept. He and the former Lois Berry were married on July 15, 1938 in Hamilton Township.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Robert of Portland; 3 daughters, Mrs. John (Janet) Kahl of Saginaw, Mrs. George (Polly) Alward and Mrs. Daniel (Susan) Pahl of Gladwin; 5 brothers, Randolph of Lake Odessa, Cloyd of Harrison, Carl of Davison,Dale of Tucson, Ariz. and L. Noel of Gladwin; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Donald Bates officiated and burial was in the Hamilton Township Cemetery.
