Mrs. E.C. Scott Dies At Home In This City
She Was a Native of the District and Prominent in Patriotic and Musical Circles
Mrs. Eleanor C. Scott, forty-two years old, vice president of the Daughters of Veterans and prominent in the patriotic and musical circles of the city, died Saturday at her home, 418 11th street northeast. Funeral services are to be held tomorrow morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Special services are to be held tonight at 8 o'clock at the residence by the Daughters of Veterans, and at 3 o'clock at the residence by the Daughters of Veterans and at 8:30 o'clock by the auxiliary of Cushing Camp, Sons of Veterans.
Mrs. Scott was a native of this city, having been born February 12, 1873 the daughter of William G. and Elmira Burgess. She was married to Gurnon R. Scott, May 18 1909. Her husband is a past commander of Cushing Camp, Sons of Veterans.
Her husband and a small son are living.
