It is not clear from the records available who his parents were, but he is very possibly a son of John Call Jr and his second wife, Betsy Nims Call. (Based on his birthdate, he would have to be the son of John's second wife Betsy. Betsy died in 1807, and John Call did not marry Violet Lawrence until 1808.) I have linked to these parents, but further investigation is necessary.... it should also be noted that the Nims Family History lists NO children for John and Betsy (Nims) Call.
