Cmdr. Luther Coleman Parrott, age 71, died Saturday. He was a retired naval commander with 30 years service, a veteran of World War II, and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Oakland Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Parrott; son, F. Coleman Parrott, Washington, D.C.; daughter; sister, Ada Wall; and brother, Nathan Davis Parrott, all of Birmingham.
