Mrs. Lizzie Jones age 87, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 29th, in a Florida hospital. She was a life-long resident of Laurel Hill Community. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Iva Cross of Mobile, Ala.; a brother Oliver Busbee of Lockhart, Ala.; 2 sisters, Frances Hoppkins of Crestview and Mrs. Missouri Roberts of New Mexico, a grandson, Newton Busbee, of RFD 2, Laurel Hill. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 31st from the Svea Assembly of God Church with Rev. J.L. Harris officiating. Burial was in the Svea Cemetery with Evans Funeral Home of Florala directing.
