He had lived in Olney and been a member of the Masonic lodge since 1925.
Survived by his wife; one son - Robert L. Haney, Jr. of Bryan; two daughters - Edna Wainwright of Canoga Park, CA and Grace Horn of Olney; one sister - Ruth Jarrett of Temple, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
