Annabell M. (Alhand) Stahl

Annabell M. (Alhand) Stahl, 88, died Sunday, April 20, 2003, at Select Specialty. She was a resident of Beech Grove.

She was born Oct. 3, 1914, in Indianapolis. Her parents were Charles and Annabell M. (Austin) Alhand. She married James M. Stahl Sr. He preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include four sons, James M. Stahl Jr., Dr. Gerald Stahl, Thomas Stahl of Greenwood and Charles Stahl; two daughters, Joan Stahl and Kathleen Arkins of Greenwood; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers, a sister and a great-great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.

A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church, with a prayer service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church building fund or Riley Hospital for Children.
