Charles was the son of Charles J and Roberta M (Norberg) Cobleigh. His mother gave him the nickname of Little Mo after the battleship Missouri. Somehow the name turned into Moe. Charles was a Vietnam veteran and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. On November 27, 1982, he married Karoline V. Galya, whom he met while working for IBM. He and Karoline had no children. In 1982, he was diagnosed with gastric and esophageal cancer. He lived 19 years cancer free and was diagnosed in April 2001 with pancreatic cancer. He had one sister Charlene J Soreff.
