Graveside services for Martha Buffaloe Gossett will be Thursday September 30, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Ridgecrest Cemetery conducted by Reverend Wallace Cason. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gossett died early Tuesday in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss. She was born in Jackson, daughter of the late Brodie T. and Ollie Reasons Holder and received her education in the local schools. Mrs. Gossett worked in retail sales for Montgomery Ward and Goldsmiths for 37 years before retiring. She had made her home in Tupelo for the past year and a half. She was married to James Gossett of Tupelo. She was Methodist in belief. She was first married to Fred Lee Buffaloe who preceded her in death in 1969. She was also preceded in death by a son, Freddie S. Buffaloe in 1979 and a brother, Tommy Holder in 1999. Friends may visit with the family today from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
