Ole Leon Sorenson Sr., 68, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 16, 2011, at home.
The celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kortsen Building, with Bishop Bryant Ridgway officiating.
Mr. Sorenson was born on Oct. 29, 1942, in Salina, Utah, and was a son of Elbert V. and Winona Sorenson. He served in the Army and was a heavy-equipment mechanic in construction. He enjoyed car shows, Hallmark movies, pictures and Facebook, especially FarmVille. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Chris D. and Ole L. Sorenson Jr. of Chandler; a daughter, Rhoda D. Varga of Chandler; a brother, Bill Sorenson of Utah; five sisters, Evelyn Sorenson of Prescott, Iris Curtis, Roberta Christensen and Elberta Utley, all of Utah, and Liz Sorenson of Tempe; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Maurine Barney.
